• We will not be involved with products that could either harm people or the environment or deal with organisations or governments that have a poor record in these areas.

Behaving Ethically Within our Specialism

• Where we can do so in the course of our work, we shall work to ensure that the IoT and device technology areas do not:
  • Become dominated by a small number of companies.
    • E.g. develop solutions that work on both Amazon AWS and alternative open-source platforms.
  • Spy on users.  Where we are involved in acquisition and storage of data, we shall try to ensure the end user is treated fairly and that information transferred is explained clearly and transparently.
